Challenge
Block puzzles are among the most-played genres, which also means many look alike. Familiar rules needed a fresh reason to come back.
Approach
We made payday bills the enemy. Clearing lines lets the heroine knock out the day's bills; fail for three moves and the bills strike back with overdue stickers. Days are short (8–17 moves), and daily news like sale days, price hikes and bonus days changes one rule each day. Survive seven days and the room gains a bed, a desk and sunlight.
Outcome
237 lines of dialogue and an upbeat soundtrack. Out now on Toss Apps in Toss and Google Play.
